Fenton’s NY Style Pizza Dough. Makes two 12” pies.
Ingredients
Directions
- Mix together: 10 oz warm water, 1 pack instant yeast, 1 tsp sugar and Let bubble.
- In stand mixer add: 70 oz 00 flour, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar.
- Add yeast/water to flour and knead in stand mixer for 6 minutes (add teaspoons of extra flour if a little too wet and is sticking to the sides of the bowl)
- Let rise in greased bowl covered with a damp tea towel for 1 hour
- Punch down dough and split in half
- Put halves is separate greased bowls for 4-5 hours covered with damp tea towel.
- Preheat oven to 500° with pizza stone or sheet pans in oven
- Spread dough on parchment and top with whatever toppings you want.
- Bake until crust is brown and middle cheese is melted and bubbling. About 15 minutes.
